Katie Bardaro, VP of Analytics and Advice, Syndio

As the VP of Analytics and Advice, Katie has more than a decade of experience in compensation data, statistical knowledge, labor economics, and public speaking. She has provided pay equity analyses and commentary for top-tier business and financial media including The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, The Economist, CNBC, CNNMoney, USA Today, Forbes, and Business Insider. She also frequently reads these publications on Sunday mornings over coffee. A passionate economist, data nerd, and mom, Katie holds a B.A. in Economics from the College of Holy Cross and a Masters of Science in Economics from the University of Washington.

Mariann Madden, Rewards Director, Willis Towers Watson

Mariann Madden is a Rewards Director based in Willis Towers Watson’s Chicago office. She has over 20 years of experience as an advisor on global pay matters. In addition to her consulting role, Mariann is a member of the North American job leveling and fair pay analysis teams, which focus on building job frameworks and conducting pay equity evaluations. She is also a frequent speaker at industry groups and HR associations on pay equity analyses and the link to broader inclusion and diversity initiatives. Mariann received a B.A. in accounting from St. Ambrose University.
