"Understanding Pay Equity"

TCCN is teaming up with NASPP Twin Cities Chapter to bring you this special program.

Pay Equity – the notion to pay employees fairly regardless of gender and other demographic characteristics – has been on everyone’s mind for a while. Today’s presentation is about the big picture and some of the critical details that help you understand what Pay Equity is all about and how to address it effectively:

  • Why is there so much noise about Pay Equity?
  • How is the law changing?
  • What can I do to understand if we might have a problem?
  • Are pay adjustments the only way to address pay gaps?
  • How can I communicate the results to employees and the broader public? Should I?
  • What are the broader implications here? Does Pay Equity change the way we approach compensation decision making overall?
  • What else should I think about when driving a pay equity agenda?
