The presentation will cover an overview of IRC Sections 280G, 162(m) and 409A at a high level and discuss implications and application from an in-house corporate practitioner’s perspective.

Presenter: Stewart Nigg - Senior Director of Executive Compensation

Stewart Nigg is currently the Senior Director of Executive Compensation at UnitedHealth Group. His current role includes responsibilities related to design and administering compensation plans / arrangements for Section 16 and top ~500 executives in the UHG organization, equity compensation across the enterprise and certain M&A matters. Prior to joining UHG in 2015, Stewart was a senior manager at EY in the National Compensation and Benefits practice where his primary responsibilities included assessing and quantifying executive compensation and benefit issues / risks arising in corporate transactions, designing annual and long-term incentive arrangements and advising on the impact of various Internal Revenue Code Sections covering compensation and benefits including 280G, 162(m) and 409A.

Stewart is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a Accounting. He received his J.D. with honors from William Mitchell College of Law.
