Recruiter Center: Search Job Candidates

On your Recruiter Center main page, you can use the Quick Search to search for job candidates by keyword.  Just type in one or more search terms, and either press <Enter> or click .  The system will search the resume text as well as the candidate's name and title fields for any of the words you entered.  You will then get a page of all candidates who match your search criteria.  (See Candidate search results for more information.)

If you want more control over your search criteria, click the Advanced Search link.  This will take you to a page that allows you to search by keywords, except that you can choose how it searches.  (Like the Quick Search, it will search the resume text as well as the candidate's name and title fields.)

Besides searching for key words, you can optionally enter a city and/or choose a state to further narrow down your results.

Here are explanations of the different search types.

NOTE: If you want to search by a full name (first and last together), always choose Any Words.  The reason is that the search looks at first, middle, and last name fields separately, and none of these fields will contain the full name.  Thus, if you have a candidate named "John Smith," and you do an All Words or Exact Match search for "John Smith," the candidate will not be found.
