The following individuals have received the TCCN Lifetime Recognition Award:

In 2010, before there was an ongoing Lifetime Recognition Award, TCCN honored Dan Byrne for his considerable contributions to the organization, including Board service of two terms as Membership Chair (2005 and 2006), and two terms as President (2008 and 2009) and for providing direction to the then-current board, mentoring new board members, and contributing as a speaker and moderator at monthly meetings.

Dan started his career in accounting, switching to compensation in 1992. His career since then has involved increasingly senior responsibilities in compensation and benefits across a number of industries in the Twin Cities. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas and CCP certification.

Randy Hunt
was awarded the TCCN Lifetime Recognition Award in 2016 for his role in the establishment of TCCN as a formal organization in 2001 and for his service  as a board member and volunteer. Randy served two terms as TCCN’s President in 2002 and 2003 and continues as an active member and frequent panelist/presenter.

Randy’s 30+ year compensation career has included progressively responsible positions and consulting roles across multiple industries in the Twin Cities.
He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, and the CCP, CBP, GRP and SPHR certifications. He is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Compensation Association (now WorldatWork).

Kate Lang
was awarded the TCCN Lifetime Recognition Award in 2016. Her leadership and efforts were instrumental in the very survival of TCCN’s precursor organization at a time when it was faltering, and she was the key leader in the foundation of TCCN in 2001 as a formal chartered organization and WorldatWork affiliate. Kate served as TCCN’s first President in 2001 and was Program Co-Chair in 2006.

Kate’s 25+ year compensation career has included progressively responsible positions across a number of industries in the Twin Cities. She holds an undergraduate degree from Metro State University and the CCP and SPHR certifications.
